Smartphone-Controlled Elevators

Otis Elevators are Updated into Hyper-Intelligent Elevators

Otis Elevators are undergoing a technological update, inspired by automobile and transport "ride by wire" technology. The new generations of Otis' systems are user-facing, journey planners, and infotainment hubs. The digitally native elevators are now available with options to further support passenger safety and health.

Designed for a faster, taller, and smarter world, the Gen3, and Gen360 elevators feature Otis eView in-car display. The updated design streams information and entertainment to passengers during the elevator ride. Hard-wired for safety, the hyper-intelligent elevators are equipped with the Otis ONE IoT digital platform to monitor equipment performance. The real-time data collection from this feature is immediately displayed to passengers for full transparency. In addition, users can call the elevator from their smartphones through the Otis eCall app.
