Nature-Inspired Ceramics

The Summer 2026 Capsule Features Bienvenue Studios’ Origins Print Series

The Summer 2026 Collection is the latest seasonal release from Heath Ceramics, developed in collaboration with Bienvenue Studios. Titled Seeds of Summer, the collection introduces ceramic tableware and accessories featuring the studio’s Origins print series, which draws inspiration from natural cycles, seeds, and shifting patterns of light.

Central to the collection is the Komorebi glaze, named after the Japanese term describing sunlight filtering through tree leaves. The effect is achieved by applying thick layers of glaze and selectively scraping back sections to create a soft, dappled appearance across the ceramic surface.

Founded in 1948 by Edith Heath, Heath has produced annual seasonal collections since 2006, using them as an opportunity to reinterpret its classic forms. This year's range incorporates subtle gradients and layered surface treatments inspired by natural phenomena and observation. Alongside tableware, the collection includes decorative vessels and serving pieces that showcase the collaborative glaze techniques.
