Digitized African Restaurant Systems

'Orda' Has Raised Funds to Revolutionize African POS Systems

'Orda' is a Lagos, Nigeria-based tech startup founded in 2020. Orda was founded with the goal to digitize and modernize the systems used by foodservice businesses and restaurants in Africa. Orda has recently raised $1.1 million in a round of funding to bring its digitization services to market.

Orda offers a full-stack range of digital services for restaurant backend systems. This includes ePOS systems, online payment services, cloud-based delivery logistics, inventory management, order processing, web integration, and various other restaurant-specific services. Orda has noted that small businesses in the foodservice industry can spend up to four hours each day simply working to organize its data from transactions to inventory management.

Orda is actively seeking industry partners in Nigeria as well as in other African countries such as Egypt, Ghana, and Morocco.
