Proteomic Blood Collection Devices

OraSure Technologies Unveils HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN

OraSure Technologies has announced the commercial launch of HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN, an advanced blood collection device designed to meet the evolving needs of proteomic research. Developed by OraSure’s subsidiary, DNA Genotek, the device leverages proprietary stabilization technology to preserve the integrity of plasma proteins in whole blood samples for up to seven days at ambient temperature.

Engineered with ProteoPrecision™ technology, HEMAcollect™●PROTEIN significantly reduces hemolysis and platelet activation, enabling high-quality sample preservation from collection to analysis. The evacuated tube design ensures ease of use while maintaining compatibility with a broad range of downstream proteomic applications, including mass spectrometry, immunoassays, and high-throughput affinity-based platforms.

This innovation is positioned to support a wide spectrum of research areas, including oncology, neurology, cardiology, and metabolic disease studies.
