The creator of the One Table was rethinking what it means to establish decorative arrangements within the home. For a minute, consider how many of your possessions don't generally move from their positions.
Studio Bas van der Veer decided to combine a side table with a set of stem holders, fusing them together so that they couldn't separate or shift. This was accomplished by fixing the vessels to the tabletop and then coating the piece of furniture and its embellishments with a layer of plastic. A thermoforming process reveals webbing in the material, reinforcing the visible stability of the vases. And in case you were concerned that the One Table could not be functional, there is a removable glass tube inside of the larger container that can be cleaned and filled with fresh water.
