Del Monte is bringing a combined fresh-and-foods range to the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando, where produce buyers can preview six new items. The display marks the brand's first joint presence since Del Monte acquired select Del Monte Foods assets, reuniting both sides under one owner after almost four decades.
At booth #1642, attendees can taste 'Del Monte Açaí Parfait,' a single-serve cup of fruit, yogurt, and granola with 6g of protein. The show runs Oct. 15-16, and Del Monte is also presenting 'Del Monte Gold Pineapple' in single-serve and multi-serve packs with 100% juice.
The joint booth following the asset deal turns a produce stop into a cross-aisle pitch, which can simplify buying for retailers that stock chilled fruit and pantry staples. Single-serve parfaits and pineapple packs also broaden the brand's grab-and-go business beyond whole produce.

Why This Trend Is Growing
- Unified Produce Branding
- Recombined fresh and shelf-stable portfolios create space for legacy food brands to present retailers with broader, cross-category merchandising platforms.
- Single-serve Fruit Snacks
- Portable fruit formats with yogurt, granola, or juice reflect rising demand for convenient, portion-controlled products that bridge produce and snacking occasions.
- Cross-aisle Retail Pitching
- Blended trade-show presentations signal new opportunities for suppliers to simplify buyer decision-making across chilled, fresh, and pantry departments.
Industries Being Reshaped
- Fresh Produce
- Brand-led innovation in packaged pineapple, parfaits, and ready-to-eat fruit expands produce beyond bulk displays into higher-margin convenience formats.
- Packaged Foods
- Shelf-stable food companies can benefit from integrating fresher formats that refresh brand relevance and extend usage occasions.
- Grocery Retail
- Retailers gain more flexible merchandising potential when suppliers offer coordinated products spanning grab-and-go coolers, produce sections, and pantry aisles.
