The OhMiBod blueMotion is an app-connected intimacy toy that gives users detailed information about their own sex lives. The product itself has been on the market for some time, but at CES 2017, the company is introducing a new system to expand the OhMiBod blueMotion app. Rather than introducing an app alone, the company is looking to transform it into a platform by letting developers write their own programs into the system.

In the same way that Facebook is a platform more than an app that simply provides functions based on actions, OhMiBod hopes to give people's sex lives that same degree of control and freedom. Developers could add gamification to the OhMiBod blueMotion, for instance, or they could integrate the existing app with dating apps like Tinder or Grinder in order to add intimacy.
