Situated in Groveland, Florida, Kroger Delivery launches a customer fulfillment center (CFC) powered by Ocado technology. This marks Kroger's first step into the Florida market. Its new e-commerce delivery service features vertical integration, machine learning, and robotics for maximum efficiency.
The CFC building measures 375,000 square feet. Its large space carries thousands of grocery products. This location represents one of the models engineered for the Kroger Delivery network. Using Ocado's state-of-the-art technology, the unique partnership opens up new possibilities for US online grocery customers.
Gabriel Arreaga, Kroger's Chief Supply Chain Officer, explains: "The Kroger Delivery network combines the efficiency of technology with the experience of our associates to deliver fresh, affordable food, and a consistent and rewarding customer experience."
