Identifying multiples might be easy for parents, but the rest of the world might have a problem telling one child from the other, especially if there are four of them and they all look and sound alike. Parents from Shenzhen, South China have discovered the solution to this puzzling problem in numbered haircuts.

They say, "style is an expression of self" and these numbered haircuts take that statement literally. The four quadruplet boys have been given a digit that nests atop their scalps artfully corresponding to the order of their birth. The haircuts give authority figures, friends, and relatives the ability to distinguish the children from one another without offending them. Getting designs shaved into the sides of little boys' heads is not uncommon, but number designs are a bit unusual.

Style and function join forces to create mesmerizing numbered haircuts for these four quadruplet boys.
