Methanol-Powered Novelty Cars

The New Hoonicorn Mustang Uses Methanol Gas For Improved Power

Rally driver Ken Block has managed to put together a truly monstrous and eyecatching new novelty car that is the result of him taking an already bespoke Hoonicorn Mustang and fitting it with a frankly ridiculous methanol-powered engine setup.

The end result is a vehicle that is fitted with a twin-turbo engine that is capable of pumping out around 1,400 horsepower, a massive upgrade over the already excellent 845-horsepower predecessor. Elsewhere, this vehicle makes use of methanol injection technology that is designed to offer maximum thrust with minimal requirement for cooling systems.

With its colorfully patriotic paint job that features glowing stars and stripes, not to mention its phenomenally high-powered engine, this novelty car is a once-in-a-generation automotive accomplishment.
