Seaweed is a common ingredient for many snack products in Asia but haven't quite taken off in popularity in North America, which is something the new Nora seaweed snacks aim to change.

The snacks come in three flavor options including 'Original Tempura,' 'Crispy Original' and 'Spicy Tempura, which all boast a distinctly healthy profile when compared to traditional potato chips presently on the market. The snacks are available for purchase online and are set to start hitting grocery retailer shelves starting this fall.

Speaking on the new Nora seaweed snacks, Co-Founder Itthipat Peeradechapan, said, "You have to taste Nora to believe it. It has all the goodness of seaweed and all the irresistibility of a potato chip. Taokaenoi has become a market leader everywhere it launches, and we are confident that Americans, too, will soon fall in love with the incredible taste of Nora.”
