Contour Starts Dallas-Fort Worth Service from Muscle Shoals

Contour Airlines is expanding Muscle Shoals air travel with nonstop Dallas-Fort Worth service starting Nov. 12, 2026, giving local travelers a direct way into a major connecting airport. The added route links Northwest Alabama Regional Airport in Muscle Shoals with the Texas hub while daily Charlotte flights remain available.

The Dallas-Fort Worth route runs five days a week, created by moving part of the existing Charlotte schedule instead of replacing it. Flights use 30-seat regional jets with extra legroom and complimentary snacks, and the Dallas stop adds American Airlines connections for longer trips.

For travelers, this means fewer ground transfers or extra regional-airport stops when a trip heads west or beyond. Keeping Charlotte in the lineup also lets Muscle Shoals cover more connection patterns from one local departure point. That makes the airport easier to use for both business and leisure itineraries.

Thirty-seat regional aircraft with comfort-focused amenities highlight potential for premium short-haul models tailored to lower-density markets without requiring large-plane demand.
Multi-gateway Itineraries
Maintaining multiple hub options from one regional airport supports more flexible routing ecosystems, where data-driven scheduling and interline coordination can improve trip reliability.
