Carne Griffiths creates captivating art with non-traditional mediums through the mastery of coffee and tea. It appears as though Carne’s mom never told him not to play with food.
His intricate work is known for having viewers take second looks. Each piece is always finely detailed with separate entities throughout. What appears to be chaotic and blotchy splashes of colors are actually the pieces of a calculated masterpiece of imagery and shapes.
In these recent works with non traditional mediums, Carne has used coffee and tea and yet, it appears as though he used the most optimal inks and paints. He has also been known to use alcohol as his ink. As suggested by these wonderful pictures, there is likely not a medium he can’t perfect.
