The Nissan 'Pitch-R' robot was unveiled by the brand at the 2018 UEFA Champion's League final as a piece of technology for use with finding the perfect place for a pitch to be set up.
The robot works by integrating a series of four cameras along with obstacle avoidance technology and GPS to scan the surrounding areas. This is used to find the perfect spot for a soccer pitch, which can be created in about 20 minutes with dissolvable white paint that is integrated into the robot's bottom portion.
The Nissan 'Pitch-R' robot is integrated with the brand's ProPilot feature and shows off the brand's capabilities as the same technology is also found in its most popular vehicles.
