NIN_NIN is a shoulder-mounted robot that has several applications, including the ability to help a tourist find their way around a new place. The Kochi Visitors & Convention Association recently introduced a brand-new tourism campaign featuring the ninja-shaped robot developed by Ory. NIN_NIN will be used to help people appreciate all that Kochi has to offer, all the while keeping the wearer in constant contact with a dedicated guide in real-time.
In just a few days, the first tour will be held along the Niyodo River, and those who want to see through the eyes of the robot can tune in on Instagram Live.
NIN_NIN also has the potential to be used by those with visual impairments and it works in the same way, connecting the wearer with a remote guide.
