NaviCane is an AI-powered smart mobility aid that goes above and beyond bulky, conventional aids that merely detect obstacles. This CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree in Accessibility & Longevity integrates ToF, IMU, pressure, and vibration sensors with GPS/BLE positioning to sense terrain height, surface texture and hidden hazards. With its TensorFlow Lite-based CNN/LSTM model, NaviCane supports real-time risk prediction and provides adaptive rerouting with satellite maps.

This modular, lightweight, smart mobility aid supports visually impaired users in a wide range of environments, and with its included dual haptic motors and Braille dial, NaviCane keeps the user experience intuitive, even in noisy environments. For enhanced safety, NaviCane additionally includes an SOS button for instant emergency alerting.
