This NIKE x Comme Des Garcons Jersey Blends Performance with Style

Ahead of the 2014 Super Bowl on Sunday, NIKE x Comme des Garçons teamed up to create the ‘NIKE Team Defender Jersey CDG,’ a more fashion-focused take on football jerseys.

For this collaboration, the NIKE Team Defender Jersey is reinterpreted as a tunic, which was hand-painted with its signature polka dot pattern by Comme des Garçons in Tokyo, making each jersey totally unique. While Comme des Garçons brings elements of fashion, the NIKE garment retains its high-performance features like mesh panels for ventilation, reinforced shoulders and a comfortable, flexible design that encourages movement.

The stylish and limited edition NIKE Team Defender Jersey CDG became available for $250 exclusively at New York’s Dover Street Market as of January 31st.
