Darling Ingredients and the Tessenderlo Group have announced a new partnership in the form of the Nextida brand as a way to capitalize on the burgeoning popularity of the collagen supplement category.

The new partnership will leverage both brands' expertise including Darling Ingredients' prowess with sustainable natural ingredients and the Tessenderlo Group's industrial agriculture dominance. The brand responds to the growing global demand for collagen and gelatin as consumers flock to the ingredients for health and wellness purposes as well as nutrition.

CEO of Tessenderlo Group Luc Tack spoke on Nextida saying, "With this combination, we will have the best new ownership possible. We will benefit from each other by sharing technology expertise and providing a complementary offering for our global customer base.
