The Nestle Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix is the first affordable, nutritious instant drink mix for the Central and West African markets to provide consumers with a simple way to increase their nutrition.
The product is crafted with a mix of milk and plant-based ingredients, and boasts protein, calcium and vitamins in the formulation. The plant-based ingredients in the mix also provide a beneficial range of nutrients like protein, essential amino acids and fats alongside additional nutrients. The drink mix is available now in Nigeria.
Head of Nestle R&D Center in Abidjan Tesfalidet Haile spoke on the Nestle Nido Milk & Soya Instant Powder Mix saying, "We used our local expertise in cereals and dairy innovation to combine milk powder with a plant-based ingredient while ensuring that the product had a good taste, texture and solid nutritional credentials. This, combined with the use of locally sourced soy, enabled us to deliver a nutritious and affordable milk and plant-based beverage with sustainability benefits.”
