Ceramic Tile Boutique Storefronts

Neri&Hu Design the New Piaget Storefront in Hong Kong

Chinese architecture studio Neri&Hu was commissioned to work on a storefront design for Swiss watchmaker and jewelry company Piaget. The store is located in Hong Kong and highlights handmade ceramic tiles that celebrate the heritage of the location and brand. It features shades of deep blue that are complemented by a bronze tonal framing. This can be found in the wharf area in Kowloon along Canton Road.

Neri&Hu explain the facade design, stating that "The project celebrates the storefront as a jeweled urban monument and repurposes the commercial facade to bring a new monumental presence and civic potency. [...] We referenced the heritage of the brand by creating bronze details of craftsmanship, and also celebrate the tradition of China as a leader in ceramic production
