Okan Uckun is a unique tattoo artist that incorporates simple black lines and dots with complex nature tattoos. His work spans from detailed insects and animals to intricate roots and branches from a tree.
Uckun seamlessly incorporates the two contrasting styles into one unified piece. Often times, a complex and detailed animal tattoo is surrounded by straight black lines creating a graphic, geometric frame around his work. Although his images sometimes overlap, Uckhun is able to make the geometric nature images complement each other.
Uckhun also acknowledges that more often than not, the dotted lines or geometric shapes do not add meaning to many of his tattoos. Instead, he believes that they add an aesthetically pleasing element to body art, giving each of his clients a one-of-a kind tattoo.
