Deliberately Untouched Editorials

The Vogue UK Natural Wonder Photoshoot Does Away with Cosmetics

The Vogue UK Natural Wonder photoshoot has deliberately done away with the use of aggressive cosmetics and bold, in-your-face hairstyles. Instead, model Mia Goth was showcased in her most basic, essential state, making the case for subdued, simple looks this season.

Make up expert Petros Petrohilos made Goth appear as organic and unprocessed as possible. He did this by way of minimal eye make up and a neutral lip shade, allowing Goth to come across as striking for readers who were likely expecting over the top cosmetics.

While the cosmetics may have been muted, the apparel worn by Goth was bold and out of the ordinary. Showcased in the images were mod striped dresses, short jackets and metallic gladiator sandals.
