To kick of the start of its summer concert series, Live Nation has declared that May 1st will officially be known as National Concert Day. Not only is the entertainment company celebrating the joy of live music, but it is also helping more fans see their favorite artists live with special ticket pricing.
On May 1st, 2017, Live Nation is celebrating the first National Concert Day. The brand is kicking off the event with what it is calling the 'Kickoff to Summer Ticket Promotion.' The promotion will involve "putting one million summer tour tickets on sale for $20 a piece with no extra service charges," between May 2nd and 9th. In other words, a million fans will be able to scoop up tickets to see their favorite band or artist in concert for just $20. The announcement is also timed to coincide with a concert at New York's Irvin Plaza, featuring artists such as The Roots, Joan Jett, OneRepublic, Cheap Trick and more.
