Nickelodeon and IMAX Corporation Debut Kid-Friendly Game SlimeZone

Nickelodeon and IMAX Corporations team up for the development of a family-friendly multiplayer VR game experience. The virtual reality places up to six players in a Nickelodeon-style cartoon-filled world and allows participants to interact through "sliming" each other, exploring, playing games and watching cartoons.

The multiplayer VR game is expanding globally to IMAX VR centers and people have the option to join in with an outsider headset to experience the Nickelodeon-designed universe in a non-VR spectator mode. The experience ultimately brings friends and family together through a well-curated digital universe.

The SlimeZone is a project by the recently launched Nickelodeon Entertainment Lab. As the global company is shifting its focus and investing in virtual reality start-ups, the bond between children and the online world is growing stronger.
