Amazon has created a Multilingual Mode for Alexa devices. Multilingual Mode will be released for next month in the United States, where users can interact with their device in both English and Spanish. Devices in Canada will be able to use the new feature in French and English. Indian users will be able to access Indian English as well as Hindi modes. Amazon has also announced that it will continue to add new languages for different locations at later dates.
The new mode is possible through the company's neural text-to-speech technology, which allows Amazon to easily install new modes into the system. Alexa will also be able to detect user frustration, due to deep learning capabilities.
