Most drones offer the operational capability to tilt and move thanks to copters that can shift slightly, but the Voliro Multicopter Drone enables a far more complex experience. Engineered with six copters, the drone is capable of having each one rotate a full 360-degrees which in turn enables a completely different kind of flying experience. This means that pilots can shift the drone to fly sideways, upside down and even diagonally without having to worry about losing control of the unit.
The Voliro Multicopter Drone is the design work of a team of students from ETH Zurich and shows significant promise for being able to offer inspection capabilities for those in professional scenarios. It also shows significant merit for offering impressive maneuvering for those who are in the professional drone racing field.
