Mug-Up by Megan Lin is a coffee maker that was inspired by Dyson vacuum cleaners. Influenced by the vacuums' modern appearance and unique functionality, it has taken on the self-contained shape of capsule form. By doing so, this coffee maker takes into account the common difficulties often faced when brewing a simple cup of coffee.

Essentially, Mug-Up by Megan Lin has a thick encasement that keeps the exterior cool to the touch. It has a wide open spout that easily accommodates a standard coffee mug. By slipping it underneath the coffee maker, the mug conveniently captures every drip without fear of liquid or coffee grind spills. It is made up of a filter container, water reservoir and water tube.
