The Coway Duo concept blends two daily rituals by combining a water purifier with a capsule coffee machine. The left side dispenses filtered water at adjustable temperatures and volumes, offering a choice between hot beverages or chilled drinks. The right side functions as a capsule coffee unit, using the same purified water to brew consistent cups of coffee. Together, the modules create a compact design that reduces clutter while improving everyday convenience.
Developed by VLND Studio, the design emphasizes balance and ease of use. Controls for both water and coffee are positioned clearly, while the coffee module shifts vertically to fit a range of cup sizes. Venting across the back supports safe operation, and the front grid detailing adds a subtle visual rhythm. Though still a concept, the Coway Duo suggests a future where multifunction appliances streamline kitchen counters without sacrificing quality.
