The MP Walker for Elderly People by Andres Sanchez Has Humanlike Joints

— April 25, 2011 — Art & Design
The MP Walker by Andres Sanchez is a four-wheeled mobility solution for seniors that features humanlike jointed legs and a collapsible design. The walker can fold away between uses; when fully extended, the wheels form a sturdy base to facilitate movement.

Unlike most frumpy steel walkers, the MP Walker features a striking, almost aggressive design. The walker's legs are black with round orange fittings at the joints. A small basket at the front half of the walker provides storage for small items. Andres Sanchez did an excellent job of preserving the essential functions of a walker while simultaneously modernizing its aesthetic.

Sanchez is an industrial designer from Mar del Plata, Argentina. His designs improve existing home and industrial products with a futuristic aesthetic and improved functionality.
