Moschino designer Rossella Jardini really took audiences and critics in a completely different direction with the Moschino Spring 2012 collection. Ruffles took over the runway, as did tiny gold bells that adorned the models' bullfighter inspired jackets, making them jingle as they walked. Or shall I say strutted; I guess models never merely "walk."
Essentially everything in the Moschino Spring 2012 collection is heavily embroidered in gold thread and fringe was also a prominent theme in the show. Then, when all ties to other spring fashion show trends were seemingly lost, pops of canary yellow appeared everywhere.
The Moschino Spring 2012 collection was, like most other fashion shows this season, dominated by black, gold, and nude hues. However, a handful of glamorous gold mini dresses reminiscent of Balmain were to be found, and everything was right in the world of Moschino again.
