For its Fall/Winter 2018 lookbook, knitwear-focused label WRAPINKNOT taps into a moody boy-inspired photoshoot. Representation-wise, the images bear a certain poetic quality that not only brings attention to the silhouettes and their styling but also captures the expressive attitude of the person modeling them.

The Fall/Winter 2018 capsule by the Japanese label fuses traditional and sophisticated designs with edgy motifs. The color palette WRAPINKNOT uses is relatively subdued while highlighting a range of timeless wool overcoats and stylishly knitted cardigans. However, what makes the pieces really stand out in the moody boy editorial is that they are styled in a contemporary and grunge-like fashion. Knitwear is often perceived as being boring and uneventful – combined with a stylish leather jacket, however, it makes for a fashion-forward and think-outside-of-the-box ensemble.
