The Montecristo Magazine 'Shine a Light' Photoshoot is Illuminating

Steve Carell's Brick Tamland of 'Anchorman' would love flipping through the Montecristo Magazine 'Shine a Light' editorial. Filled with lamps, it is almost like a home decor's version of a Playboy spread. Well, perhaps it is a more tastefully shot. Filled with coy half-shots of the light fixtures, there is a sensuality to the shoot that many might not recognize right away. Of course, that is because it wasn't necessarily created on purpose.

Shot by photographer Jennilee Marigomen with art direction by Mark Reynolds, the Montecristo Magazine 'Shine a Light' editorial nevertheless takes still life photography to another level. She reveals, “We wanted to play with distortion, blurred surfaces, and abstraction, a nice contrast to the smooth clean lines of industrial design." The photoshoot features set design and direction by Elicia Di Fonzo.
