Continuing the Patron of Art Edition, the Montblanc Peggy Guggenheim Pen pays tribute to one of the defining collectors of the 20th century. She was known for helping the careers of Max Ernst, Vasily Kandinsky and Jackson Pollock. It was appropriately unveiled in Venice, Italy, the city she called home.
The Montblanc Peggy Guggenheim Pen boasts a ton of references to her life from the skeletonized structure of the barrel, which evokes the dramatic entrance to her collection, to the clip design that carries the lion of Saint Mark and the red stripes so commonly seen on the mooring pillars for the gondolas that cruise the city's canals. It even has paws engraved in the nib to represent her love for her 14 Lhasa Apso dogs.
