Montblanc Celebrates the New Year with a Luxurious Dragon-Themed Pen

Montblanc is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a new luxury fountain pen called ‘The Earthly Dragon.’ The opulent writing instrument is decorated with detailing inspired by East Asian culture, including a bold gem-equipped version of the dragon, representing luck, wealth, wisdom, and power.

The instrument boasts a solid champagne-tone gold cone with a Tsavorite, a hand-engraved dragon adorned with valuable stones, and an Au 750 white gold cap. The eighth son of the dragon, Fu Xi, is represented by a finely engraved emblem on the gold nib. The cap's crown is a Montblanc diamond set in pure gold.

The luxurious 'The Earthly Dragon' writing utensil is limited to just eight units and is available exclusively at Montblanc’s website for $168,000 USD.
