Terrestrial-Like Planters

The Monstera Pots Feature a Sleek yet Organic Design

Sprucing up your living space can often become a headache, but these Monstera Pots offer an easy fix that will also add a breath of fresh air to any room.

Created by Tim Van De Weerd, a Dutch designer who studied at the Utrecht School of Arts and specializes in furniture, objects and interiors, the Monstera Pots collection is a quirky and whimsical alternative to those everyday brown pots you would normally see household plants sitting in. Featuring a sleek white design, the pots are constructed with steel bars that have been bent by hand and molded with clay. The delicate winding legs of the pots are made to look like an extension of the plant itself, creating a connection between the organic and manmade.

The Monstera Pots made their debut during Dutch design week 2014.
