Unfortunately you cannot just deny the day of the week and block out the hour, even though the designer of the Mistake Clock seems to have attempted the latter. This lighthearted contemporary object demonstrates how even a screw-up can become something quite beautiful.

Studio Taschide's whimsical wall clock is based on the mark made by an inky pen, held by someone who has tried to scratch out an error that he's written on a page. The core is quite dense and dark and the doodle loosens towards the edges; rendered in black, the motif makes a very effective backdrop for displaying a pair of ticking hands.

The face of the quirky Mistake Clock is manufactured in acrylic and sports a pair of yellow metal indicators. It's especially ideal for artists and writers with a sense of humor.
