New York-based studio MB Architecture created a simple and minimalist house design with a gabled roof, a pale timber frame and an overall rustic aesthetic. The home in Amagansett lacks distinctive embellishments. The simplicity of the design is accentuated, as the architectural work seeks to minimize the visual impact of an area that has been recently infested with kitsch mansions. While the minimalist house's appearance is non-expressive, its exterior does not take away from the grassy areas and lush trees that surround the property.
