Coffee Creamer Capsules

These Milk and Sugar Capsules Dissolve in Hot Liquid

These milk and sugar capsules dissolve in hot liquid to serve as an environmentally friendly alternative to wasteful sugar packets and plastic milk containers. The containers of cream or milk that are thrown inside of to-go cups of coffee may not seem like much, but collectively, the disposable packs contribute to a large portion of environmental waste.

In effort to protect the environment, Martha Wellner, a PhD student at Germany's Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, created a solution to ensure one's morning coffee can be enjoyed guilt-free. These dissolvable capsules combine coffee's favorite companions, milk and sugar, in one sweet and creamy capsule. Even though they contain milk, the capsules are safe to consume for up to three weeks at room temperature.
