There might be three smoke stacks protruding from this metal power station extension, but this architectural modification to a power plant in Würzburg, Germany by Brückner & Brückner is anything but old-school. The challenge was to make the building visually pleasing while also remaining consistent with the existing complex.

Brückner & Brückner is a German engineering firm, and the metal power station extension that they designed manages to be both unique with the multi-coloured metals and functional. The building stands out with its varying rhythm but isn’t overbearing.
