The Meross MA151 Smart Smoke Alarm is Smart Home-Friendly
Michael Hemsworth — July 21, 2025 — Tech
The Meross MA151 Smart Smoke Alarm is the brand's newest piece of smart home equipment created with smart home integration in mind alongside optimal everyday protection. The smart alarm is powered by a pro-grade chipset alongside two optical sensors that can intelligently differentiate between smoke and steam to cut down on false alarms. The device will react in 0.02-seconds after confirming a detection, and features a mesh around the cutouts to prevent insects from infiltrating it and causing a false alarm.
The Meross MA151 Smart Smoke Alarm will adapt to changing temperatures, dust and additional triggers that can cause false alarms. The unit will also work alongside the Meross MSH450 Hub to provide alerts to administrators on their device.
