Amazon and Kidde Unveil an Array of Home Security Solutions

At CES 2025, Amazon and Kidde unveiled a game-changing partnership aimed at enhancing home safety through Ring's innovative technology. The collaboration introduces a new line of smart smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, available in multiple models priced between $55 and $75. These detectors integrate seamlessly with home Wi-Fi, offering instant push notifications without requiring a Ring alarm or hub to function.

Along with the upgraded detectors, Ring is launching a Smoke and CO2 Monitoring service for $5 per month. This optional service offers 24/7 monitoring by trained agents who can directly notify emergency responders if a threat is detected. Notably, the service is available without the need for a Ring Home subscription.

Both the new detectors and the premium monitoring service are set to launch on April 2.
