Former U.S first lady Melania Trump is the latest celebrity to hop on the NFT bandwagon, announcing the launch of her very own non-fungible token and blockchain venture. According to a recent press release, the first NFT to be released by the celeb will be a watercolor artwork by the artist Marc-Antoine Coulon, titled 'Melanie's Vision.'
The piece will be available to purchase for a limited time between December 16 and December 31. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the new Melanie Trump NFT sales will go to initiatives that support children aging out of the foster care system.
“Through this new technology-based platform, we will provide children computer science skills, including programming and software development, to thrive after they age out of the foster community,” said Melania.
