With the global impacts of COVID-19, many brands are taking the initiative to bring light to the circumstance we're all placed in, including the Meaningful Connections efforts by 1017 ALYX 9SM. With the unprecedented challenges placed upon the world, the streetwear brand aims to bring a sense of community through its Instagram platform.

"It is now more important than ever to remain connected and creative," the brand states. The purpose of the initiative is to stay connected with friends, family, and fans. Meaningful Connections shares artists and collaborators' perspective on how they stay creative as they answer questions about their inspirations and their time in isolation. So far, the installation launched with a spotlight on its own co-founder and creative director Matthew Williams followed by stylist Lotta Volkova with more to come.
