The Mazda CX-60 Has an Electric Motor and 2.5-Liter Gas Engine

The Mazda CX-60 is being launched by the brand as a new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that will offer drivers with access to power, performance and also efficiency. The crossover SUV is equipped with an electric motor along with a 2.5-liter gas engine, which work together to offer impressive range when partaking in a number of driving conditions. The European model of the vehicle will be equipped with the e-Skyactiv PHEV system that is the first of its kind from the brand.

The Mazda CX-60 will be available for preorder in Europe starting on March 8 with sales slated to start taking place in summer 2022. The vehicle will start being produced at the brand's Hofu Plant No. 2 in the Yamaguchi prefecture in Japan starting on March 11, 2022.
