Avant-Garde Apocalyptic Lookbook

The apocalypse has seldom been portrayed in such an avant-garde way as it is in the Maximilian Messler Metropolis lookbook. The usual suspects are all there (scorched land, dilapidated buildings and more), but in place of Mad Max-like outfits that are tattered and grungy, these survivors are clad in chic futuristic ensembles that would be fitting for a sci-fi princess or two.

The Maximilian Messler Metropolis lookbook was captured by German photographer Justine Szczepanczyk. The styling of the shoot is out of this world. The curve-hugging bodysuits, eccentric hoods and batwing fabrics are complemented by chunky accessories and bright shoes, which happens to match the equally vibrant hairstyles and lipstick. The blue and yellow wigs stand out against the models' porcelain skin.
