This Model is Made Up to Look Like a Space Mattel Barbie

Vice Magazine recently released images of its latest photo shoot staring famous model Amatue, known for her resemblance to the plastic Mattel Barbie doll. The theme for the photo shoot was space Barbie, and Amatue was styled to look like a futuristic, galaxy-travelling space doll.

With Amatue's abnormally large blue eyes, perfect porcelain skin, pink lips, slender nose and long, blonde straight hair, she really does look like a life-size Mattel Barbie doll. Makeup tricks by artist Inna Betily, like drawn on lower lashes, help to extenuate Amatue's doll-like features. Styled and photographed by Synchrodogs, Amatue was dressed in a long white dress by designer Anna October to look like a galactic space goddess. Shot on the edge of a sea coast, Amatue was covered in out of this world Inca-inspired jewels and accessories and props like live cockroaches.
