From Sprinkle Bakes, the Matcha Picchu is a "matcha, strawberry and milk caramel dessert" that is formed to look like a pyramid. Its clever name is clearly a pun on the famous Incan monument located in the Andes Mountains of Peru.
This matcha candy-coated confection uses matcha tea Kit Kats. The 'summit' contains a pocket of dulce de leche, where as the middle is a layer of strawberry preserves. The bottom is a dulce de leche Chantilly. The matcha desserts are then placed on a bed of buttered graham cracker crumbs. You can also place a small piece of fold leaf on the very tip.
