We've all been to or seen a summer hotspot during the busy season, when travelers swarm beach towns and local commerce thrives. But what about during the winter, when tourists are fighting off the chill of the colder months at home with a hot toddy? What happens to those stunning summer seascapes?
Massimo Martino's 'Winter Seascape in the Sun Island' captures exactly what happens during the off-season: Nothing. The gazebos are tattered shadows of their summer selves, the Adirondack chairs are bent back and discarded. Rubbish cans are overturned and remain empty.
