It would seem that with each newly released mascara product comes an equally novel mascara applicator, but the new Le Révolution Volume from Chanel is particularly noteworthy for its design.
Back in 2007, Chanel filed a patent for the creation of cosmetic products applicators with 3D printing, which included a 3D-printed mascara brush. Now, Chanel will soon be launching its new product with a brush that has been created with additive manufacturing.
Chanel’s Le Révolution Volume mascara brush apparently features a new shape that would otherwise be impossible to create, were it not for 3D printing. The new design has a granular texture to improve upon the way the product adheres to the lashes, as well as a form that prevents clumping.
