MARY+JANE's 'Blue Dream' Takes Cues from a Popular Marijuana Strain

— April 28, 2018 — Fashion
On April 20th this year, American beauty company MARY+JANE launched 'Blue Dream' as a cannabis-inspired fragrance that pays tribute to a popular marijuana strain of the same name.

Blue Dream the fragrance is said to have a floral, spicy, elegant and masculine scent, as well as the "sweet blueberry aroma unique to the strain, with the characteristic hint of animalistic skunk of 'green flower.'" The product is available in a number of formats and sizes for ease of use.

As much as cannabis is becoming a key ingredient in many beauty and personal care products, many of them focus solely on the therapeutic properties of the herb, rather than its unmistakable scent. As MARY+JANE marketing director Casey Kwon puts it: "In designing and selling fragrances with the distinct scent of cannabis, MARY+JANE is crystallizing the beauty and freedom associated with the herb."
